The few certain items that we know about this fundamental historian of the pharmacy, probably from Ticino, is that he received his degree in pharmacy in Milan in 1904 and became director of the local Ospedale Maggiore. We have some evidence of his teaching in the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Pavia. Botanical Interests: Pedrazzini wrote a monumental, well-known work, “La farmacia storica ed artistica italiana” (1934), with numerous descriptive subjects examined with precision and competence.
